Composer ("Carol of the Drum" ["Little Drummer Boy"]), author and
teacher, educated at Wellesley College and a student of Stuart Mason
and Nadia Boulanger. She taught at Wellesley and in private schools in
Philadelphia and Concord, and was a freelance editor and arranger from
1910. She joined ASCAP in 1941.
