Mircea Daneliuc was born on April 7, 1943 in Hotin, Hotin County, Kingdom of Romania [now Khotyn, Chernivtsi Oblast, Ukraine]. He is a director and writer, known for Patul conjugal (1993), Senatorul melcilor (1995) and Cele ce plutesc (2009). He is married to Cecilia Bârbora. He was previously married to Tora Vasilescu.
