Melissa Cox earned her MFA from UCLA's prestigious Screenwriting
program in 1996. Returning to Toronto to pursue a career in Canada,
Melissa completed The Canadian Film Centre's Writer Resident Program in
the fall of 1997 and the Professional Screenwriting Program in 1998.
Melissa mentored with professional screenwriters
Michael Jacot,
Michael Colleary
(Im Körper des Feindes (1997)) and
Frank Deese
(Josh & Sam - Zwei Ausreißer auf großer Tour (1993)) and
continues to maintain contacts with the US film industry.
