George Cooper. 51, film, actor 37 years, died Dec 9 in Veterans Hospital, Sawtelle, Cal. after a three-year illness. Former stock player in Newark and New York: Cooper entered pictures with Vitagraph in 1908 and played for a time in Mack Sennett comedies. In Silent days he had prominent roles and continued as a character actor when sound came in. In private life he was George Cooper Healey.
