Born in Denmark, Sven Cleemann graduated from Metropolitanskolen in
1966, followed by seven years of study (medicine, social science,
gymnastics and psychology) at the University of Copenhagen.
He then entered the world of music and theatre, appearing in the
original Danish stage productions of "Hair" and "Jesus Christ
Superstar" as well as in "Touch" at ABC Teatret. He has also acted in
episodes of the hugely popular TV-series
Oh, diese Mieter (1970)
and in the potato western
Guld til præriens skrappe drenge (1971).
He is deeply interested in spirituality and has traveled extensively in
the East.
As of 2013, Sven Cleemann works as producer at the production company
Danmarks Natur- og Miljø-TV, and plays in two bands, "Just in Time" and
"Over the Hill".
