Terry Chen made his acting debut in the Academy Award winning film Almost Famous, playing Ben Fong-Torres, directed by Cameron Crowe. In the decades since, he has had supporting and lead roles alongside the industry's best in feature films including: Memory, The A-Team, War, Elysium and Sight. On television, Chen was a series regular on ABC/Global drama Combat Hospital, had key recurring roles in fan-favourite Continuum and season two of the award-winning House Of Cards for Netflix and A Million Little Things for ABC. With another key role in the Critics' Choice series The Expanse on Amazon, as a lead in the second season of Jessica Jones for Marvel/Netflix and co-lead in the poignant four-part limited series Chimerica (Channel 4). Terry starred with Viggo Mortenson in the critically acclaimed feature film, Falling, Viggo's directorial debut which premiered at Sundance in 2020. Recent credits include his award-winning starring role in Lucky Star, recurring roles in Hulu's Under The Bridge, Invasion (AppleTV) and The Lake (Amazon Prime) and in The CBC/CW's Wild Cards. It was announced in 2025 that Chen has been cast in Season 2 and 3 of Netflix's live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series.
