Allan Blye was born on July 19, 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was a writer and producer, known for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour (1967), Bizarre (1979) and Van Dyke and Company (1976). He was married to Rita Rogers and Shirley Brotman. He died on October 4, 2024 in Palm Desert, California, USA.
