Lost his 'Prince' title when he married Erika Patzek, a "woman of the
people" in 1934. Received the title "Count of Wisborg" 1952, but
started to call himself "Prince" again in 1983, much to the anger of
the Swedish king, Carl XVI Gustaf, his nephew.
