Composer, author and hit songwriter ("Red Roses for a Blue Lady," "Kiss of Fire," "Suzy Snowflake," "Nuttin' for Christmas," "The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane, "The Young Ones"),
educated at City College of New York. In World War II he served in the
14th USAAF. He was a staff writer for Mills Music, and composed special
music for Elvis Presley films. He joined ASCAP in 1947, and collaborated with
