Brannon Paul Bates is an American actor and musician.
He had questionable grades in school mostly due to girls, drugs, and
his rock band. He was nominated for five superlatives including Best
Personality, but didn't receive any of them because they weren't sure
if he would graduate, which he did as the last in his class. Bates was
involved in his church theater group and he was in choir. After graduating he was in a rock-band that won "best band" in a statewide contest and was slated for a recording deal.
When visiting Pensacola, Florida he was involved in a near fatal
motorcycle accident which crushed most of the bones in both of his
wrists, almost lost one eye, and injured a knee. Because he hit a curb
riding over 100 mph, he was launched into the air which sent him
through the "Welcome to Pensacola" sign. Bates spent two years
rehabilitating his hands so he could play guitar again.
Arriving in Los Angeles in 2005 he played many of the best clubs in
Hollywood including the legendary Rainbow Bar on Sunset strip which has
been graced by the greatest music legends of all time including Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Mötley Crüe,and Guns N' Roses.
In 2007 Bates invented the music character Brand-0 where he turned heads
with his music video which played endlessly on television setting what would become a huge trend with "The Brando" hairstyle.
In 2012 Bates starred in the high caliber film noir Payback Jack which
garnered him critical fame in the film community. Known as a recluse and an introvert Bates is known to shy away from the media and main stream attention, though he voices his opinions strongly through his art, music, and movies.
