Beulah Archuletta was best known for her role as "Look" in John Ford's Der schwarze Falke (1956). She was born as Beulah Donahue on August 24, 1909, in Phoenix, Arizona, and was a member of the Gila River Indian Community. Her mother, Lillian Johns, was Maricopa (Pee-Posh) and her father, Lawrence Donahue (died 1922), was Klamath from northern California. Beulah and her seven siblings were raised Presbyterian. She attended the Phoenix Indian School and was graduated in 1929. She married Santiago "Sandy" Archuletta in 1934. The couple had two children, James (1935-2003) and Arlene (1939-2010).
Beulah mostly performed as an extra of background actor, but she did play minor roles in Wagon Train (1957) and Der schwarze Falke (1956). Her last movie was as an extra in the epic Western Das war der wilde Westen (1962). She died in Los Angeles on October 28, 1969, aged 60.
