Andy "The Hammer" Anderson had the longest knockout string in no-holds
barred fighting competition. Born in 1964 in Arlington, Texas, he was
billed as 87-0, with 87 knockouts when he faced 6 feet 10 inch. Jon
"The Giant With An Attitude" Hess at the Ultimate Fighting
Championships on April 7, 1995. In a toe-to-toe slug-fest, Anderson's
knockout streak was halted by technical knockout. He never fought
again.
