The Darkness Outside (2022)
Plot: Eight-year-old Briana mysteriously vanishes from her bedroom in the middle of the night without a trace. Her aunt, Madeline, joins a frantic search to find her, but the investigation quickly takes a turn into the supernatural. As Madeline and several others involved in the search fall into harm's way, they realize they are dealing with ancient, mysterious forces responsible for the girl's disappearance. The film is inspired by real-life accounts of unexplained vanishings and explores themes of paranormal activity and family trauma.
