Northern Shade (2022)
Plot: Justin McLaughlin, a troubled Army veteran living in isolation on a boat in Connecticut, is forced out of his reclusive life when his younger brother, Charlie, goes missing. Teaming up with a private investigator named Frankie, Justin discovers that his estranged brother has been recruited by a dangerous, extremist militia. Set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, Justin must use his military training and confront the ghosts of his past—including visions of a fallen comrade—to infiltrate the militia compound and rescue his brother from an indoctrinated path of violence.
