Meteors (2025)
Plot: In the rural wasteland of Haute-Marne, France, lifelong friends Mika and Daniel live on the fringes, spending their days drinking and chasing half-baked "get-rich-quick" schemes. After a botched attempt to steal a prize-winning cat leads to a looming court trial, the stakes escalate when Daniel is diagnosed with liver failure. Faced with a six-month deadline to turn their lives around, the pair takes dangerous construction jobs at a nuclear waste site managed by their friend Tony. The story explores the volatile "Lennie and George" dynamic of their codependent friendship as they struggle to escape the cycles of addiction and social stagnation.
