Joy & Hope (2020)
Plot: Joy and Hope McGregor are two sisters who run their family’s "Two Sisters Ranch" in upstate New York alongside their father, Frank, and their loyal friend Gabe. The ranch’s quiet routine is disrupted when Ethan Dulane, a successful romance author from Manhattan, arrives at the ranch to escape a severe case of writer's block and meet a looming book deadline. While Joy is a devoted fan of Ethan’s work, the more pragmatic Hope is skeptical of the city-dweller. As Ethan immerses himself in ranch life and learns the local traditions, he finds the inspiration he was missing—not just for his next novel, but for a real-life romance that challenges his cynical views on love.
