Carnage for Christmas (2024)
Plot: Lola, a successful transgender true-crime podcaster, reluctantly returns to her conservative Australian hometown for the holidays—the first time she has visited since transitioning. Her homecoming is quickly marred by a string of gruesome murders that mimic the town’s local urban legend, "The Toymaker," a Santa-masked killer who reportedly slaughtered his family decades ago. As the body count rises and the local police begin to view Lola as their primary suspect, she must use her investigative skills to unmask the killer and survive a community that is often as hostile as the murderer itself.
